Armadale Reptile and Wildlife Centre is a non government funded education facility open to the public to help teach people about our local wildlife to promote protecting and conserving our fauna and flora
The owners Klaas and Mieke have been rescuing wildlife since the early 1970's. They both worked at Perth Zoo, Klaas for 17years. They wanted to protect wildlife and educate people on our native fauna so started a park in 1995. Now it houses over 350 animals mainly reptiles (including crocodiles), but also kangaroos, emus, dingoes, wombats and birds. Most of these animals have arrived there due to being injured, unwanted, rescued and confiscated by authorites. They also act as a drop off point for injured animals, provide a rescue service for venomous snakes, cater for school groups, snake capture and release courses and displays.
We have wheelchair facilities. Open to the public 6 days a week (wednesdays closed except school and public holidays) from 10am til 4pm.
